Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with United Nations World Food Program (WFP) Executive Director David Beasley. They discussed how USAID and WFP will work together to provide urgent humanitarian food assistance to crisis-affected people and respond to the needs of the most vulnerable around the world. The United States is the world’s largest donor to WFP, and provided more than $3.7 billion to WFP to fight hunger and assist the most vulnerable in Fiscal Year 2021.
