The Transformational Leadership Program (TLP) provides educational opportunities for Kosovo’s most promising students in order to develop a cadre of leaders to drive significant economic, political, and social development. This will be accomplished through university scholarships, partnerships, and student and faculty exchanges.

USAID/Kosovo supports cooperation between the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, the United States Energy Association, and the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) in Kosovo. 

The Development Credit Authority (DCA) loan portfolio guarantee increases access to credit for Kosovo’s agriculture sector by providing a 50-percent risk guarantee to loans issued by participating banks.

The six-year USAID Separation of Powers Project (SPP) was launched in 2008 to help Serbia move closer to European Union accession by strengthening the judicial and legislative branches of government.

The U.S. Agency for International Development Control and Prevention of Tuberculosis (USAID CAP-TB) project is a six-year effort, which runs from October 2011 to October 2018, to reduce the incidence and mortality of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in China and Thailand. The project’s activities in Burma ended in December 2015. According to the World Health Organization, of the 9.6 million new TB cases in 2014, 58 percent were from Southeast Asia and Western Pacific regions.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Connectivity through Trade and Investment is a five-year project funded by the U.S. government to increase economic engagement and cooperation with ASEAN member states. The program supports customs integration, trade and investment facilitation, small and medium-sized enterprises, clean and efficient energy, and information and communication technologies which are priority areas under the ASEAN-U.S. Trade and Investment Framework Arrangement, Enhanced Economic Engagement Initiative, and Enhanced Partnership Plan of Action.
