The FATA Institutional Strengthening Project strengthens the ability of the Secretariat and the Development Authority of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to plan, manage, and oversee stabilization and development activities and to govern more effectively and responsively to citizens' priority concerns. By helping with systems development, training, and critical information technology support, the project supports efforts by these institutions to develop and manage programs at the agency and community level, monitor their implementation, and engage in more effective communication.

The FATA Infrastructure Project supports efforts by the Government of Pakistan to implement development projects in areas of FATA where conflict has disrupted local communities, damaged infrastructure, and forced people to flee their homes. The project enables the government to respond rapidly, visibly, and credibly to priorities vital for the area's socio­economic development.

The Civilian Victims Support Project assists non-military, non-police, non-combatant, and non-civil-service populations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) who have been injured or disabled as a result of terrorist-related acts of violence or during the military response to the insurgency. 

The Gender Equity Program works to close the gender gap in Pakistan by actively supporting the development of women. This program seeks to facilitate behavioral change in society by enabling women to access information, resources, and institutions and improving public attitudes towards women's rights issues. 

The Citizens' Voice Project seeks to improve engagement between organized citizen groups and government. The project aims to strengthen the citizen organizations' abilities to exercise effective policy advocacy and engage in government oversight. 

The Anti­Fraud Hotline Project funds a multi­lingual hotline that allows individuals to report allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse in USAID projects. The hotline enables communication in English, Urdu, Pashto, Sindhi, and Baloch via phone, conventional mail, a web­based interface, and email. Complaints received via the hotline are transferred to USAID's Office of the Inspector General for review and investigation. The Office of the Inspector General is solely responsible for investigating all complaints and taking appropriate measures to address them.
 

The USAID Sindh Basic Education Program supports the Government of Sindh's goal to increase and sustain student enrollment in primary, middle, and secondary schools in seven target districts of northern Sindh and five selected towns / areas of Karachi. 

The project funded the repair and maintenance of units 1­4 at the Jamshoro Thermal Power Station located near the city of Hyderabad in Sindh. The project aimed to regain the power generation capacity that had been lost over the years due to the aging of the equipment and deferred maintenance at the station.
