HIGHLIGHT

USAID Learning for Development improves the Mission’s capacity to partner with local organizations,  building on over 60 years of programs  in Nepal. The activity consolidates the collective knowledge of the Mission while focusing on increasing the quality of locally led development.

USAID Strengthens Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL):

USAID conducts evaluations, assessments, analyses and studies to design new programs based in current evidence to better address the local needs of Nepal’s most underserved communities. Learning from experience, USAID strives to improve the delivery of assistance to transform the lives of women, youth and marginalized groups in Nepal.

USAID Builds Knowledge Management Systems:

USAID integrates Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) tools and approaches into its learning and knowledge management systems. It leverages data and analyses to inform future programming, build local partner capacity, and adaptively manage programs to make development results more sustainable.

USAID Leverages Technology to Drive Innovative Development Solutions:

USAID supports the Mission and its partners in developing and implementing effective MEL systems including the adoption of digital and virtual tools, data analysis and visualization tools, and GIS technologies for monitoring performance at the strategy, project, and activity levels.
