Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with Abdul Qadir Patel, Federal Health Minister for the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination of Pakistan, to congratulate him on his new role and share appreciation for Pakistan’s robust response to COVID-19.
The Administrator and the Minister discussed how the United States and the Government of Pakistan are working together to address the wide range of challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. This partnership continues to include supporting pediatric vaccine rollout, strengthening the country’s health services, and improving access to virtual education.
