Pristina, March 31, 2022 - Today, the United States announced an additional $31.9 million in assistance to the people of Kosovo.  This funding promotes Kosovo-led development solutions to economic and democratic challenges.   This assistance, from the United States and through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), was committed in a ceremony attended by the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier and USAID/Kosovo Mission Director Zeinah Salahi.

Since 1999, USAID has invested over $1 billion in the reconstruction of Kosovo and its development on behalf of the American people.  With this renewed commitment of $31.9 million, the United States and Kosovo underscore our joint commitment to shared values and Kosovo’s development.
