USAID Transparent, Effective and Accountable Municipalities activity in Kosovo is a five-year anti-corruption project, established in January 2017, that supports Kosovo municipalities in public procurement, internal audit, public financial management, and human resources to ensure that processes are efficient and standardized, limiting human discretion and increasing transparency in public procurement.

published by 28 municipalities on their websites voluntarily,  until Dec. 2020

In August 2018, Municipality of Gjakova was the first to open contracts.  

21,150 public contracts available to citizens on the e-procurement platform from sept. to dec. 2020 

12 e-Learning materials on e-Procurement. As of May 2019, as a part of the Kosovo journey to self-reliance, Government of Kosovo transformed the traditional classroom training system to e-Learning experience.

Anti-Fraud Unit submitted 141 cases with suspected fraud elements to the Prosecutor's Office for further investigation from 2018 to 2020.

31 Partner  Civil Society Organizations tracked and exposed Corruption in 2020, through:

29 reports; 3 radios debates; 22 videos; 2 televised debates; 12 social audit teams; 38 info graphics; 3 guidelines for watching practitioners; 13 cases sent to the state prosecutor
