Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services

Speeches Shim

To support the Kenyan people more sustainably, USAID is focused on strengthening county-level development and Kenyan-owned, led, and managed organizations.  As part of this effort, USAID is launching 13 new health programs that will be implemented by local organizations under an initiative called Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services.

The programs, which will be implemented in 34 counties, are meant to support the county governments in achieving the national goals of responding to HIV/AIDS; safeguarding the rights and welfare of children and adolescents impacted by HIV/AIDS; and ensuring equitable access to and use of quality primary health services by the most vulnerable.  The programs will also enhance the capacity of county health and social systems to provide care and support for their populations.
