In Indonesia, one serious consequence of climate change is the imbalance and unpredictability of rainfall, even in the monsoon season, leading to both droughts and catastrophic floods and resulting in water supply shortages, especially in urban communities. 

Clean water is critical for survival and depends on reliable raw water supplies and well-managed watersheds. USAID is partnering to keep these life-sustaining resources flowing to communities with the greatest need.
