Reaching Out To Reduce Stigma

In 2021, José Mario Rivas, an online HIV counselor in Guatemala, received a message from a young man who thought he had been exposed to HIV. It was late at night and José quickly realized that the young man was in severe distress and was contemplating suicide. As time stretched on, José increasingly became concerned.
