Ecuador is a regional leader on regularization of Venezuelan migrants―helping provide more stability, protection, and access to services for vulnerable populations arriving in Ecuador. In support of these efforts, USAID advances the legal status and welfare of long-term migrants and refugees by improving access to jobs, health, education,. Through USAID programs, migrants and marginalized Ecuadorians, particularly women, receive entrepreneurship and business training, access to seed capital, financial and job placement services, and coaching and mentorship opportunities so that they can form sustainable businesses and contribute to economic growth.
