How can your company help fight COVID-19 in Bangladesh?

Depending on the specific intervention, private sector assistance could take the form of: 

  • Expertise and skill sets (e.g., supply chain, data analytics, marketing/communications, technology and innovation) 
  • Use of company assets (e.g., locations for vaccinations, equipment)  
  • Collaboration with and/or funding of local or international organizations undertaking COVID response programs 
  • Provision of funding or donated items to government entities

Country-Specific Needs

Increasing Vaccine Access & Delivery

Logistics, Warehousing, and Infrastructure 

  • Support outsourcing of, or provide donation for, cold-chain maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Procure, or provide funding for, additional vaccines and support logistics of national vaccine distribution plan 

Vaccine Distribution, Planning, and Sites of Delivery 

  • Support outsourcing of, or provide donations for, various transportation modalities to distribute vaccines, especially in remote/rural areas 
  • Provide on-site vaccine delivery including in high-density work settings (e.g., factories, tea gardens)

Staffing, Training, and Administration

  • Incorporate proof of vaccinations into workplace policies and programs (e.g., recruitment, access to workplace premises, obtaining services)

Data and Monitoring

  • Establish a comprehensive COVID-19 vaccine logistic tracking/management information system
  • Working with the Ministry of Health and implementing partners, enhance existing national pandemic surveillance and data analytics capabilities to expand vaccine coverage

Incentives and Messaging

  • Design, generate, and/or distribute targeted vaccine campaign messaging and communications, based on population demographics

Expanding Availability of Tests, Therapeutics, and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Supply Availability and Logistics

  • Support procurement of molecular diagnostic testing and sequencing equipment
  • Provide support to increase testing capacity in high-density work settings (e.g., factories, tea gardens)
  • Support local production capacity of qualified KN95 and N95 face masks
