The Science, Technology, Research and Innovation for Development (STRIDE) program is a five-year initiative by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that aims to strengthen applied research activity in Philippine universities and industries.
USAID STRIDE has a competitive grants program that invites universities to apply for funds to support research undertaken jointly with either a US university or a Philippine industry or company. The goal of these grants is to increase the research capacity of Philippine universities and build a pool of scientists and technologists who will help drive innovation-led inclusive growth in the country.
