Digital Action Plans (Visions)

While the Digital Strategy covers the whole Agency, each sector and region has unique digital development opportunities and challenges that need to be identified, prioritized, and in some cases, incorporated into USAID’s assistance.

Digital Strategy Action Plans aim to set digital development strategic priorities for a region or sector and help to form a foundation for future requests and learning opportunities in alignment with the objectives of the Digital Strategy. Digital Strategy Action Plans will take into account trends and issues related to the digital ecosystem in the specific sector or region, and put forward priorities that will shape how USAID applies digital technology in its programming, engages with other actors in ecosystem-level issues, and/or addresses knowledge and evidence gaps. Digital Strategy Action Plans are also an opportunity to identify operational considerations necessary to move the identified priorities forward.
