Peace Day Challenge
September 21 is International Day of Peace
USAID is participating in a global Peace Day Challenge to commemorate International Day of Peace on September 21. Each year, the global development community marks Peace Day to commemorate and strengthen the ideals of peace.
USAID is affirming our commitment to embracing ideas from local partners who know best how to bring peace to their communities. Together, let’s mark September 21 as a day of action to build more peaceful, just, and inclusive societies that address the root causes of conflict. Each of us has a role to play in building sustainable peace. Share on social media how you are fostering peace using #PeaceDayChallenge.
