USAID’s new climate strategy will not be successful without critical input and support from our partners. In the first phase of the strategy development process, USAID conducted a robust and inclusive external engagement process with a wide range of stakeholders from across the globe to gather input, recommendations, and evidence to inform the foundations of the strategy.

USAID hosted 29 external listening sessions with dozens of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), youth activists, community leaders, Indigenous Peoples organizations, other donors, implementing partners, the private sector, and in-country stakeholders, among other groups. USAID is grateful for the time and effort of these organizations and individuals in providing us thoughtful input. We are especially grateful for the organizations that partnered with us to organize and co-host listening sessions for different stakeholder communities.
