Overview
The Deputy Assistant Administrator for Human Resources (DAA/HR) decides whether to offer career candidates tenure in USAID's career Foreign Service, based upon recommendations of the Tenure Board. The organization of the Tenure Board and its responsibilities are set forth in this mandatory reference. Within the scope of these regulations and precepts, the Tenure Board establishes such internal operating procedures as are necessary to fulfill its responsibilities.
