Tšoenyo Tekane started working at the Baylor Foundation Lesotho in the year 2015 under the USAID-funded PUSH Project based in Mohale's Hoek. As an Outreach Nurse, he mentored health care providers in all the district's facilities on HIV Care and Treatment. His involvement in the Baylor Lesotho Mohale's Hoek Satellite Clinical Centre of Excellence (SCOE), was to supervise and to monitor the facility's Direct Patient Care.

In 2019, Tekane moved to Mokhotlong district operating as a Nurse mentor under the USAID-funded ETHICS Project. Without a district-based Project Coordinator, he took over acting as a Team Lead for a period of six months, coordinating project personnel in the district.

The following year in 2020, he was appointed as a Lead Nurse mentor. At the helm, he mentored the district and facility Nurse Mentors and Nurses while also coordinating the entire Mokhotlong district ETHICS Project team.

In 2021 he continued as Lead Nurse Mentor (ETHICS Mokhotlong) coordinating the district-based project team, supervising Field Cadres, and working to ensure appropriate monitoring of the project's progress.

As of January 2023, through hard work and dedication, Tšoenyo Tekane is now the Head Nurse at the Baylor Mokhotlong SCOE. Without a leading doctor at the facility, Tekane is still doing what he does best - acting as a supervisor and ensuring that high-quality services are consistently delivered to all clients.
