Overview
In his June 2, 2010 memorandum, President Obama directed Federal agencies to take immediate action to extend certain benefits to same-sex domestic partners of Federal employees, and where applicable, to the children of same-sex domestic partners of Federal employees, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
