Our Agency survives -- and thrives -- because of the capabilities and performance of its people. The Office of Human Resources (OHR) strives to find, develop and retain the best people to work at USAID – you – and keep the "human" in Human Resources by touching people's lives globally.
OHR handles all aspects of personnel activities, from recruitment and workforce planning to policy development, assignment evaluation, promotion, discipline, career development, and retirement policies and programs for USAID’s Foreign and Civil Service employees. To encourage a diverse and robust applicant pool for our positions, we participate in meetings of professional associations, jobs fairs, and can conduct briefings for student and other special interest groups. We hope you visit our careers section.
