USAID is supporting the administration of President Michel Martelly through technical assistance for urban planning, decentralization, economic growth and recovery efforts. Some of those efforts include: assisting the Government of Haiti in communicating about and launching the Caracol Industrial Park; providing technical assistance to the new Presidential Advisory Council on Economic Growth and Investment and to President Martelly's Council of Advisors; and supplying light infrastructure support to key government institutions. In 2011, USAID helped inaugurate temporary buildings for the Haitian Parliament.
