USAID/Macedonia’s APS for Expanding Participation of People with Disabilities Program – 2014 Disability Funding

On October 8th, 2013, the USAID Interethnic Integration in Education Project, together with the Municipality of Staro Nagoricane, celebrated the completion of renovations at the Hristijan Todorovski Karpos Primary School in the village of Dragomanc. The process of refurbishment, financially supported by the U.S. Government through the United States European Command (EUCOM), created a better learning environment for interethnic integration in education.

The USAID Youth Employability Skills (YES) Network Project, with the Municipality of Prilep and the Employment Center - Prilep, opened an innovative two-day job fair at the Marko Cepenkov Cultural Center in Prilep today.

USAID’s Youth Employability Skills (YES) Network Project, in cooperation with the Municipality of Gostivar, officially launched the Local Economic and Social Council (LESC) of Gostivar Monday, September 30.

On September 19th,2013, in Kumanovo, the U.S. Agency for International Development, in cooperation with the Municipality of Kumanovo, gathered business and NGO representatives as well as members of the public to present the activities and results of the USAID Persons with Disabilities Internship and Employment Project.  The project aims to make disability issues visible to the private sector and broader community while promoting equal rights for social and economic inclusion of people with disabilities.
