USAID/OFDA Regional Disaster Assistance Program (RDAP) Training Portfolio

USAID's Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA), through its Regional Disaster Assistance Program (RDAP), provides technical assistance and training in 28 countries of the Latin America and Caribbean region. The assistance and training focus on the following five areas:

  4. Forest Fire Prevention and Control (click here)
  5. School & University Safety Program (click here)

The training and technical assistance program features a series of courses, which are described below the definition of each focus area. The Reference Materials for each course and, in some cases, the Pre-Work required for the course, are also included. These documents can be downloaded in PDF format. It is worth mentioning that our courses and workshops to form course instructors also involve other materials that are used during the development of the trainings, such as: the Coordinator’s Guide, Instructor’s Material/Lesson Plan, Distribution Materials, Participants’ Workbook, Transparencies, exercises and other complementary material for the instructor and participants.
