The situation regarding the education in the Nablus directorate is that were substantial efforts to
Provide more schools, both through the supporting institutions, local associations,
And especially through CHF and USAID, focusing on supporting areas that needed to build new schools.
This school was like a magic key for students in this village, since it is close to their homes and saved their families money on transportation to and from school.
The school serves several groups, including Askar refugee camp, the village of Iraq Al-Tayeh, and the neighborhood near Amman Street.
The school has an entire floor of classrooms which are not yet used. But they will be in the next year, God willing. The current 10th grade class will become the 11th grade, and
we will change the set up of the school, so that the school will grow with them, and continue to the 12th grade so that we have a full secondary school including Tawjihi.
Also the school serves students from the UNRWA elementary school who transfer to the 9th grade in the government school.
I believe that this is the largest school and the best constructed, especially with the new extension.
The school will also serve people with special needs, and its rooms are many and varied.
The excellent construction and attention to the specifications in building the Iraq Al-Tayeh School were distinct.
The atmosphere here is very comfortable, and the surrounding area is free from factories and pollution. This provides an educational atmosphere and an environment conducive to learning.
I would like the Iraq Al-Tayeh school to have a playground and a cinema. I
I hear from my daughters that the school is new and funded by USAID, and that this organization supported construction of the school, and we hope it will also support building the extension.
We hope the experience of Iraq Al-Tayeh will be repeated in many schools. Every year we need at least three new schools.
I hope we can stop doing morning and afternoon shifts.
On behalf of all students at the school, I would like to thank those who supported the Iraq Al-Tayeh school for providing us with a school in Iraq Al-Tayeh.
In this school we have many things that were lacking in the other school, in terms of organization, facilities and the best teachers.
