Welcome to Asalah, a magazine devoted to the culture and traditions of the Palestinian people. "Asalah" is the Arabic word for authenticity of heritage and traditions, an important value in Palestinian society. We invite you to experience the world of the Palestinians - a world vaster, and far richer, than the one portrayed on evening news broadcasts.

To repeat a phrase one hears whenever entering or leaving a Palestinian home, "Ahlan wa sahlan"... Welcome. Come, experience for yourself the extraordinary generousity, vitality and dignity of the Palestinians.
