Mr. Sifiso Ngcobo is a husband and father of two children. He and his family have lived in a small home in Soweto for the last 35 years.

Mr. Ngcobo was retrenched in 1991 and was left with no job. With the help of a R2,000 grant from a USAID supported NGO, the Get Ahead Foundation, Mr Ngcobo has been able to start a business of repairing bumpers, grill spoilers and also manufacture new ones.

The business has grown so well that he has been able to employ eight people. Mr. Ncgobo is the kind of entepreneur that South Africa needs -- one who can create employment for others.
