Status of the Leland Initiative in Kenya

	Policy Review (Objective 1): MOU signed with the Government of Kenya on June 2nd, 1999.
	Technical Review (Objective 2): Survey completed. A joint Plan of Action will be created with the Government of Kenya and the Kenyan private sector to advance Internet activities.
	Internet Applications Review (Objective 3): First part of the "Internet as a Tool for Development" Course has been completed with the USAID Regional and Kenyan Bi-Lateral Missions. Part Two will be scheduled soon.
