The following announcement is provided as a service to the general public and the PT&T of Cote d'Ivoire, Cote d'Ivoire Telecom.
The U.S. Agency for International Development ("USAID") would like to announce that the Ivorian PT&T has upgraded their national Internet gateway through assistance from USAID's Leland Initiative and is now accepting new, private sector Internet Service Providers ("ISPs") to be connected to the gateway.
No USAID financial or material assistance is being made available to private sector firms which qualify to function as an ISP in Cote d'Ivoire; nor is USAID a party to any aspect of the relationship between Cote d'Ivoire 's PT&T and qualified ISP firms.
