The Demographic Impact in Developing Countries
USAID will release new Census Bureau data showing the tremendous impact of AIDS on the developing world. Life expectancy, population growth and infant mortality rates have all been dramatically affected.

Wednesday, July 12 Confronting Stigma and Denial: The Demand for Voluntary Counseling and Testing
New studies in Africa show dramatic increases in demand for voluntary HIV counseling and testing , when the services are accessible, affordable and secure. This may be a key method for overcoming the HIV/AIDS stigma and denial that has paralyzed responses to the epidemic in the developing world.
