ADS Chapter 534, Personal Property Management Overseas, has been revised. The changes incorporated in this chapter are both substantive and editorial. This chapter applies only to USAID Missions that provide their own administrative services (operating expense (OE) & program funded) or those that are USAID Alternate Service Provider (ASP) Missions and provide personal property services to other Government agencies. USAID Missions that receive personal property management services through the ICASS system must adhere to Volume 6, Foreign Affairs Handbook (6 FAH-5), ICASS Handbook; 14 FAM 410, Personal Property Management for Posts Abroad, and post-specific guidance. |

This Interim Update announces a revised ADS Chapter 534, Personal Property Management Overseas. The changes incorporated into this chapter are both substantive and editorial. This chapter applies only to USAID Missions that provide their own administrative services (operating expense (OE) and program funded) and those which are USAID Alternate Service Provider Missions and provide personal property services to other U.S. Government agencies. USAID Missions that receive personal property management services through the International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) system must adhere to Volume 6, Foreign Affairs Handbook (6 FAH-5), ICASS Handbook; and 14 FAM 410, Personal Property Management for Posts Abroad, and post specific guidance. |

The revision of ADS 548, Program-Funded Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Reviews, supersedes the previous version in its entirety. The updated version of ADS 548 contains an expanded overview and background section; introduces the IT Experience Repository; provides clarity around the different stages within the IV&V process; clearly identifies required documentation at each stage; and expands the applicability of the Chapter to include program-funded investments developed or purchased at USAID/W. |
