Dr. Hill meets a young mother and her child who are benefiting from free antiretrovirals (ARVs) under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. They are receiving antiretroviral treatment (ART) including ongoing counseling from the Joint Clinical Research Center, supported by USAID for expanding ART in Uganda. JCRC is a premier Ugandan institution, having treated over 25,000 since the beginning of the Emergency Plan.
