The 2005 International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP), held in Kobe, Japan from July 1-5, sought to increase the understanding of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and related issues in the region and to share lessons learned that are applicable to future efforts.

The President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief convened two satellite sessions and organized an informational booth.
