Creative Associates continues to collaborate with USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives on a design for a possible demobilization and reintegration program for ex-combatants into local communities in Burundi. BEPS completed an initial assessment in March and a team is now discussing the content of a reintegration effort that may include nonformal education, a psychosocial component, life skills training, and community mobilization.
