Public-Private Alliance in Education

This five-part Global Development Alliance program seeks creative solutions to problems in education and leverages significant non-federal resources. Two of the five components are U.S.-based with global implications aimed at furthering the “Education for All” initiative: an education Internet portal, and a matrix/diagnostic tool for measuring country progress toward education goals. The others address accelerated learning for out-of-school youth in Nigeria, model school expansion in Nicaragua, and the development of the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh.
