Women of reproductive age and their young children are the primary beneficiaries of the USAID Guinea health program, which increases access to and quality of reproductive health services, and social marketing of contraceptives.

USAID is increasing access to immunizations and oral re-hydrating salts and promoting better health at the community level. It also supports activities to reduce female genital cutting and limit the spread of HIV/AIDS through a multi-sector approach and grants to NGOs.
