Local (Indigenous) PVO Information

A "Local PVO" or "Indigenous PVO" is a non-U.S. PVO operating in the same foreign country in which it is organized. A Local PVO is not required to register with USAID/Washington. Local PVOs are often referred to as NGOs or Non-Government Organizations. A Local PVO wishing to do business with USAID is encouraged to meet with the USAID Mission in their country of origin, see www.usaid.gov Keyword: name of country. Also see the Site Map for a directory of Missions.
