Conflict Assessments

The Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation (CMM) works with USAID’s missions to perform in-depth conflict assessments, which result in the production of comprehensive reports that map out destabilizing patterns and trends in specific developing countries and include recommendations about how development programs can be structured to better address these trends. CMM has created an innovative conflict-assessment framework to facilitate this process.
