Maternal and Child Health ACCESS

ACCESS works to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality in two northern states in Nigeria through the provision of integrated community and facility-based essential maternal and newborn care interventions focusing on antenatal care, emergency obstetric care and newborn care, postpartum care, and family planning for healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies.

Maternal and Child Health ACQUIRE

The ACQUIRE project increases access to comprehensive fistula prevention, treatment and community reintegration services. As an integrated reproductive health and maternal health program, ACQUIRE will increase the uptake of contraceptive services in four Northern states in Nigeria. Employing various strategies including male and community leaders participation, ACQUIRE will raise awareness on community re-integration, including stigma reduction, psychosocial support and micro-enterprise development.
