USAID/Nigeria works at national, state and local government levels with public, private, and civil society partners to develop frameworks and strategies to consolidate the democratic transition and deliver services to communities. USAID is also working directly with communities themselves, particularly through women’s groups and other NGOs, to help institutionalize democratic principles and increase the capacity of these organizations to advocate for their needs and hold government accountable. USAID’s program supports four Strategic Objectives (SOs)
