- Eight advocacy visits were paid to church, community and opinion
84 leaders to raise awareness on the project and HIV/AIDS and
garner support for the project.
- Trained Ministers on voluntary and confidential counseling and
testing 30 for members of their congregation, incorporating HIV
topics in their sermons and pastoral care for PLWA in their congregation.
- Trained volunteers among church membership to provide care and
support 38 for PLWA, form support groups.
- Trained Peer Health Educators to provide information and 100
create awareness on HIV/AIDS and help volunteers form support
groups for PLWA.
- COCIN has organized five rallies to create awareness on HIV,
mobilize 5000 communities to support PLWA and reduce discrimination
against PLWA.
- COCIN provides ongoing VCCT at three of her health facilities.

- Trained health personnel from COCIN hospitals and clinics to
provide VCCT 20 and manage cases referred from the communities.
- COCIN project staff participated in the conduct of a baseline
for their communities.
