CEDP introduces improved disease resistant varieties of cassava; increase productivity through the generation, promotion, and adoption of new cassava production technologies; and facilitates access to inputs, credit, information, and domestic markets.

Maximizing Agricultural Revenues and Key Enterprises in Targeted Sites (MARKETS)

MARKETS works along the commodity development chain to transform traditional Nigerian agriculture from low input/low output, subsistence farming to commercially competitive agriculture, focusing initially on rice, sorghum and cereals, cowpeas/legumes, aquaculture, and dairy.

Comprehensive Integrated Approach to HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care in Nigeria (CIHPAC)

CIHPAC supports the adoption of healthy reproductive behavior among most at risk populations by working at the community level and integrating national level social marketing with community level interventions. The project is changing behavior through the use of peer facilitation, dramas, and target-specific materials.

AIDS Impact Mitigation (AIM)

This activity builds the capacity of Nigerian NCOs to provide improved or expanded HIV/AIDS services to widows and single mothers, HIV positive women, commercial sex workers and orphans and vulnerable children in their communities.

Community Care in Nigeria (CCN)

This activity improves the quality of lives of OVC through the scale-up of service provision utilizing a community and family based approach. It also supports the development of the capacity of indigenous NGOs and civil society organizations.

Positive Living

This activity expands gender sensitive, comprehensive community-level HIV/AIDS awareness and home-based care and support services for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS with a special focus on women affected by HIV/AIDS.

Seven Dioceses Community-Based Care and Support (CRS 7D)

This activity supports community-based initiatives to mitigate the impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The PMTCT component includes training, care and support, and social mobilization activities.

Scaling Up Nigeria (SUN)

This activity supports direct provision of services to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), home based care and support activities, access to health care, protection and rights and increased livelihoods for OVC and their caregivers and builds the capacity of indigenous faith based organizations and communities to respond to HIV challenges in their communities.

Vocational training for trafficking in persons (TIP) victims

Provision of assistance for vocational training for TIP victims in Benin City. Training conducted by local NGOs Idia Renaissance and the Society for the Empowerment of Young Persons (SEYP).
