The Northern Zone Initiative (IZN) is a program that has worked on strengthening local governance in four departments in the northern region of Paraguay. The activities performed within the program have provided technical and financial assistance to local governments to be better prepared to respond to the priorities of citizens and improve their services.
The other pillar of the program has been working on generating economic security through lawful and sustainable alternatives of income for poor people living in rural areas of the departments of Canindeyú, Amambay, Concepción and San Pedro.
