Truck containing USAID vegetable oil: Since October 2003, USAID's Office of Food for Peace (USAID/FFP) has provided $67.1 million in mixed food commodities to vulnerable populations in Darfur. As the rainy season intensifies in late May and early June, roads in Darfur will become impassable, and relief workers will have difficulty accessing many conflict-affected persons.
