USAID Assistance in Darfur


The provision of food commodities, delivery to the country in need, and distribution to beneficiaries is complex process.  USAID is the largest donor of food assistance to Darfur, and with a turn-around time of 14 days, from initial discussions with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to vessel loading, this contribution is one of the quickest in USAID history.
