Earthquake Relief Photo Gallery :: Pakistan
More than 47 percent of the total houses in the Northwest
Frontier Province were damanged or destroyed, according to
the National Action Plan. In Pakistani-administered Kashmir,
the earthquake damaged or destroyed 241,613 houses, or approximately
68 percent of all homes. WFP reports that as of October 30,
WFP had dispatched more than 5,200 metric tons (MT) of food
to Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, Mansehra, Balakot, Batgram, Shangla,
Bagh, and Garhi Habibulla. The images below show both destruction
and relief to earthquake-stricken areas in northern Pakistan.
