This map shows the Opium Poppy Cultivation in Afghanistan at the province level. Measurements are in hectares (ha). Data taken from the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime, Afghanistan Opium Survey Nov. 2004.

Note: A hectare is a metric unit of surface area, equal to 100 ares. 1 hectare equals approximately 2.4 acres.
