Status of the Leland Initiative in Guinea-Bissau

	Policy Review (Objective 1): Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signed.
	Technical Review (Objective 2): Installation of the Leland gateway was halted due to the recent fighting and subsequent damage to the PT&T.
	Internet Applications Review (Objective 3): Leland conducted Internet training and "train-the-trainer" seminars during January and February, 1998. The full trip report and executive summary of the training is available.
