Status of the Leland Initiative in Botswana

Comments: While USAID does not have a bi-lateral relationship with the Government of Botswana, USAID houses our Regional Center for Southern Africa in Botswana. Consequently, it is important for Leland to use the regional resources located in Gaborone to foster improved connectivity and empowered end-users throughout the Southern African region. There is a 1996 Leland Country Assessment and Implementation Strategy report for Botswana.
