The General Health Center of Dar El Fatwa is a non-profit dispensary established in 1988 and licensed to Dar Al-Fatwa by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health. Located in the Aisha Bakkar area in Beirut, the dispensary serves more than 1,000 economically disadvantaged patients per year coming from Beirut, Saida and Tripoli. The health center includes many sections, for example, general health, ear-nose-throat, cardiology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, digestive and hepatic systems, kidney and urinary tracts, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, dental, dermatology, endocrinology, and physiotherapy. With funds from the American people, USAID creates jobs, invests in youth and protects the environment in Lebanon.
