Other Donors Programs: The European Union, one of the largest donor in Kenya's environment sector participates with USAID in community wildlife conservation programs. Other donors include the World Bank, United Kingdom, Japan and the Netherlands. The UNDP/Global Environment Fund supports a program to reduce the loss of biodiversity and to build institutional capacity in biodiversity conservation. Finland and Belgium both work in forestry, while the Netherlands is working on wetlands preservation.

Principal Contractors, Grantees or Agencies: USAID supports Government of Kenya (GoK) agencies including the Kenya Wildlife Services, the Coastal Development Authority, the Forestry Department, and the National Environmental Management Authority. NGOs include: the African Wildlife Foundation, PACT Inc., Mpala Research Centre, the East African Wildlife Society, the African Conservation Centre (ACC), World Conservation Union (IUCN), African Centre for Technological Studies (ACTS), Price Water House Coopers and the University of Rhode Island. Other grantees and contractors will be selected as implementation on forestry and marine program proceeds.
